CSIS's Mexico Project hosted Mariano Herran Salvatti, general prosecutor of the state of Chiapas, and Manuel Angel Castillo, professor-researcher with El Colegio de México, for a discussion that aimed provide the Washington policymaking community with a deeper understanding of the various challenges that Mexico confronts in managing its southern border.
