Ban Ki-moon, who was sworn in as the eighth secretary-general of the United Nations in December 2006, spoke at CSIS during his first visit to Washington as the organization's leader. Zbigniew Brzezinski, a CSIS trustee and counselor, introduced Ban and moderated the question-and-answer session.
