The CSIS Energy and National Security Program hosted Andris Piebalgs, European Commissioner for Energy, for a discussion on European Union renewable energy policy. Commissioner Piebalgs also spoke on strengthening the EU-US energy relationship. Robert E. Ebel, Senior Adviser to the Energy and National Security Program introduced Commissioner Piebalgs and moderated the Q&A session.
