The CSIS Transatlantic Media Network will host the second U.S.-European Environmental Journalists' annual summit in Stockholm in May 20-23, 2009, in cooperation with Swedish institutional and educational partners.
The meeting, to be attended by leading U.S. and European environmental journalists, will discuss the challenges facing environmental journalism, differing media and public perspectives on either side of the Atlantic, and the role played by environmental issues in U.S. and European politics. The Stockholm summit will continue the dialogue started at the first U.S.-European Environmental Journalists’ summit at the University of Colorado at Boulder from November 12 to 15, 2008.
