On the Chinese side, speakers included the noted economists Cai Fang, Fan Gang, Hu Angang, and Li Keping, the Director-General of the National Social Security Fund. On the U.S. side, they included Nicholas Eberstadt (AEI), Thomas Rawski (University of Pennsylvania), and Yvonne Sin (World Bank). Paul Hewitt, now Deputy Commissioner for Policy with the U.S. Social Security Administration, also made a return appearance.
