With Russia’s presidency of the G8 underway, increasing attention is being paid to Russia’s efforts to reassert for itself a leading regional and global role.  Bringing together policy experts, government representatives, and business leaders, the Russia and Eurasia Program at CSIS hosted a conference on Russia's New Role in the World to discuss relevant topics such as energy, regional security, and the economic and business climate.
