Derek Mix is a fellow in the CSIS Europe Program, where he works on issues related to transatlantic relations, the European Union, and NATO. In addition to his work for the Europe Program and its Initiative for a Renewed Transatlantic Partnership, Mr. Mix also works with the Center’s Brzezinski Chair. He manages and coordinates A Global Euro-Atlantic Dialogue, a series of CSIS projects about U.S.-EU, NATO-EU, and U.S.-EU-NATO relations. Mr. Mix holds a B.A. from the University of Houston and an M.A. from the Elliott School at the George Washington University. His recent publications include "The Transatlantic Climate Change Challenge" (with Julianne Smith), Washington Quarterly (Winter 2007–2008); and Transatlantic Approaches to Sanctions: Principles and Recommendations for Action (with Robin Niblett) (CSIS, December 2006). |
