Bradley Belt is chairman of Palisades Capital Advisors, LLC, a boutique advisory and investment firm. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. He served as senior vice president of CSIS, responsible for policy development, corporate strategy, and oversight of the Center's international finance, information technology, and domestic policy initiatives. Belt joined CSIS from Capitol Hill where he served as Republican counsel to the Senate Banking Committee, chief counsel to the Securities Subcommittee, and as legislative director and general counsel to a United States Senator. He also served in senior staff positions at the Securities and Exchange Commission. His private sector positions included serving as a senior executive with a leading-edge financial services technology company, FolioFN, Inc. As president of Washington Capital Group and managing director of the Commonwealth Group, Belt advised companies and financial institutions on public policy and business strategy issues. Belt also serves on the boards of both private companies and non-profit organizations. He has written and lectured on international finance, global strategy, and legislative policy, and has appeared as a commentator on CNN, C-SPAN, and CNBC. Belt is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the State of New York, District of Columbia, and U.S. Supreme Court bars. |
