Yan Wen is a consultant and visiting fellow with the Human Space Exploration Initiative within the Technology and Public Policy Program at CSIS. Ms. Wen focuses on the Chinese space program and U.S.-China space relations. Prior to joining CSIS, Ms. Wen was a visiting fellow at the George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute. She has worked in the private sector in a number of positions, including consultant for the Boeing Company, chief China representative for SpaceDev, Inc., and director of China business development at Lockheed Martin’s Beijing office (where she addressed issues relating to space, telecommunications, information technology, and maritime traffic control). Ms. Wen received her master’s degree in space management with distinction from the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. Previously, she graduated from the China People's University with a B.A. in political science. Currently, Ms. Wen is a member of the China Users Association for Satellite Communications, Broadcasting, and Television, the United States Information Technology Office in China, and the American Chamber of Commerce in China. |
