Yuki Tatsumi Adjunct Fellow (Non-resident), International Security Program |

Yuki Tatsumi was named adjunct fellow in the CSIS International Security Program in February 2004, having worked as a research associate since August 2001, focusing on Northeast Asian security issues. Prior to joining CSIS, she was a research associate for the Japan Program at the Henry L. Stimson Center. She also served at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C., from 1996 to 1999 as special assistant for political affairs. Her articles on Japanese security policy and Japanese defense policy have appeared in PacNet Newsletter, CSIS Japan Watch, Japan Digest, Japan Times, and the International Herald Tribune. She has also contributed articles to Japanese journals, including Ronza and Sekai Shuho. Tatsumi holds a B.A. in liberal arts from the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan, and an M.A. in international economics and Asian studies from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C. |
