Kenneth Langone is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Invemed Associates, LLC, a New York Stock Exchange brokerage firm. He received a B.A. from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is chairman of the Board of Trustees of New York University Medical Center and a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University and its Executive Committee. From 1980 to 1996, he was a member of the Bucknell University Board of Trustees, where he served as chairman of its Nominating Committee and as a member of its Executive Committee. He is a cofounder of Home Depot, Inc., and has been a director and member of the Executive Committee of its board since it was founded in 1978. He also serves on the boards of Choicepoint, Inc., YUM Brands, Inc., and Unifi, Inc. In addition to his business affiliations, he serves on the boards of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Fund, the Ronald McDonald House of New York, the Robin Hood Foundation, the Harlem Children’s Zone, and the Promise Academy.
