Janet Granger has headed the Conference Office at CSIS since 1989, witnessing a growth in the annual meetings hosted by CSIS from 300 to over 1,000. Before coming to CSIS, Ms. Granger lived in southern California working on special events for a private school. Since joining CSIS, she has made an effort to enhance the value of the meeting profession through contributions to several magazines. Ms. Granger has a CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) and a CMM (Certified Meeting Manager) certificate, the latter being very prestigious and limited to just 200 worldwide. She also has a B.S. and an M.S. from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.
