Sarah Lawrence is a corporate relations manager with the Office of Strategic Planning, where she assists with the Center’s relationships with several companies, the majority of which are in the financial sector. She also assists in fundraising for various CSIS programs, including the Europe Program, the Global Strategy Institute, the South Asia Program, the Global Aging Initiative, the Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy, and the Pacific Forum. Prior to joining CSIS, Ms. Lawrence worked as a scheduler and executive assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. A native of New York City, she has traveled extensively abroad and lived and studied in China, Cuba, Spain, and various parts of the United States. She did her undergraduate work at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Vanderbilt University and earned dual bachelor’s degrees from Vanderbilt with honors in Spanish and women’s studies. |
