Karina Marshall is the marketing manager for external relations at CSIS, where she is responsible for communications initiatives for the Center, focusing on branding, strategy, and development of special marketing projects for CSIS programs and departments. She is also involved in developing and implementing marketing and promotions for publications of The CSIS Press. Ms. Marshall comes to Washington, D.C., by way of Detroit, Michigan, where she was an account executive and creative manager for a full-service marketing agency, working with clients including General Motors, Mercedes-Benz Financial, Disney, Detroit Medical Center, and nonprofits including the Salvation Army and March of Dimes. Ms. Marshall attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she studied psychology with a focus on marketing, communication, and art history. She was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and is fluent in Russian. |
