WASHINGTON — With Americans steamed about paying more than $4 per gallon at the pump, chances for action in Washington remain stalled in heavy political traffic.
"Putting this on the table in the last six months of the administration is a tough thing to do," said Frank Verrastro, energy and national security chairman of the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
