With the support of Professional Services Council, CSIS initiated the project to analyze the structure of defense professional services industry. CSIS reports have covered the structure and present status of professional services industry. We also analyzed the evolution and policy implications of different services including Information and Communications Technology services, Professional, Administrative, and Management Support services, Research and Development services, Equipment-Related services, and Facility-Related services.
The first edition of the report covering the years 1995-2004 was published in 2006 and the updated second version was released in 2007. Currently, the Defense Industrial Initiatives Group has been working on updating the third edition covering years 1995-2006.
