Training at Goldman Sachs
On August 2, AILA sponsored twenty-six CSIS staff members traveling to New York City to participate in a day-long workshop on global markets, hosted by Goldman Sachs.  The workshop covered a variety of topics, including IPO's, capital markets, derivatives, and investing.  The day's lectures and simulations provided the CSIS participants with working knowledge of global markets and an idea of how they influence the international policy that CSIS studies.  The day concluded with a private tour of the New York Stock Exchange trading floor.
