The project on Interviewing History: Conversations with America’s Leaders was created as a vehicle to promote the interaction between young professionals just launching their careers and distinguished leaders who have held high-level positions in government or the private sector during noteworthy times in U.S. history. The major premise of this project is to foster deliberate and active mentoring at CSIS by creating opportunities to understand the complexities of public leadership from those who were directly involved in shaping critical events. Active mentoring is an enhancement to the talented individuals who come to CSIS to start their public policy careers, but also to the organization.
AILA would like to thank Linda and Mitch Hart for being such outstanding supporters of this series. Future dinners are scheduled for this fall.
