Dr. Sidney Weintraub, who holds CSIS's Simon Chair in Political Economy, received the highest honor the Mexican government can bestow upon a foreign national when he was admitted into the Orden Mexicana del Aguila Azteca (Order of the Aztec Eagle) on October 20. Dr. Luis Ernesto Derbez, Mexico's secretary of foreign relations, decorated Dr. Weintraub during a ceremony at the Cultural Institute of Mexico in Washington, D.C.
