About Seven Revolutions The SEVEN REVOLUTIONS initiative dares to do what fewer and fewer organizations are able to do – to consider the long-term implications of global trends facing the world. The project maps seven key trends that will effect change out to the year 2025, providing leaders with a comprehensive outline of the major challenges that lie ahead. The seven “revolutionary” areas of change are · population; · resource management; · technology innovation and diffusion; · information and knowledge creation and dissemination; · economic integration; · conflict; · and governance. Each of these revolutions embodies both promise and peril and it is up to every one of us to determine the trajectory these revolutionary forces will follow. Seven Revolutions Website The Global Strategy Institute created the SEVEN REVOLUTIONS WEBSITE to reach the broadest possible audience and push current and future leaders to think about the long-term challenges facing the world. For each revolution, the website offers an in depth summary, lists of suggested readings, and discussion questions. To enter the Seven Revolutions website, click here. Seven Revolutions Presentation The conclusions of the Seven Revolutions project have been captured in a riveting fast-paced, multi-media presentation that has literally been taken around the globe. Erik R. Peterson, the project’s founder and director, has presented to every sector—from governments to private industry to academia and to nongovernmental organizations—and in every setting—from small local boardrooms to large auditoriums across the world. Past audiences include GE, Boeing, Lafarge, Walmart, ABN AMRO, Merrill Lynch, Notre Dame University, the Wharton School of Business, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Security Agency, the U.S. Coast Guard, the United States Secret Service, the American Chemistry Council, American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the American Society of Newspaper Editors. Organizations from all over the world have benefited from the Seven Revolutions presentation: "Erik Peterson’s presentation was spectacular and was received in a most positive manner by the group. The substance of the issues, the complexity of the individual components and the quality of analysis on the meaning of each of these factors for our collective future shone through and resonated with this audience. He is a credit to CSIS and an outstanding national asset.” – National Defense University, the U.S. Department of Defense “The formal evaluation of the seminar rated your presentation higher than any other event.
