November 16, 2005- Teams from CSIS, the Cato Institute, the Hudson Institute, and The Heritage Foundation debated the use of pressure on China to recognize Taiwan as independent.

The Young Professionals Debate Series
August 5, 2004  -  Teams from CSIS and the American Enterprise Institute debated the future direction of U.S. foreign policy. The resolutions centered on three issues: whether the U.S. should send peacekeeping troops to Sudan, normalize relations with North Korea, and use preemptive military action without multilateral consensus and cooperation.
