Global Visions for America

The autumn 2008 issue of The Washington Quarterly features articles from around the world on the expectations (and hopes) of China, Europe, India, Japan, the Middle East, and Russia for the next U.S. administration. The issue also includes provocative articles by former U.S. government officials highlighting some of the key challenges for the new administration, including: how to navigate through the foreign policy and national security challenges of the upcoming presidential transitions; and why the next administration should maintain the separation of India and Pakistan in U.S. policy.
