A Collection of Papers from the 2009 Conference Series

The PONI conference series provides a forum for graduate students and young professionals from around the country to present new ideas on how to address key challenges in nuclear strategy and policy. The 2009 PONI conference series consisted of three regional conferences at Annapolis, MD, San Diego, CA, and London, United Kingdom. It also included a year-end capstone conference in Omaha, Nebraska at Offutt Air Force Base, home of U.S. Strategic Command, featured a selection of some of the most intriguing presentations from these three preceding regional conferences. The 2009 Collection of Papers from the PONI Conference Series contains articles written by those who presented at the capstone event in Omaha. The journal therefore provides insights on current and future challenges from those who represent the next generation of experts in the field.
