Critical Moment for Donbas

The desperate struggle by Ukraine to hold on to its territory in the eastern Donbas region reached a critical point on Tuesday, as Ukrainian and Russian soldiers clashed in street battles in the city of Sievierodonetsk and the last bridge linking the city with Ukrainian-controlled territory to the west was destroyed, as the New York Times report.

Russia’s Profits

In the 100 days after its Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine, Russia’s revenue from exports of fossil fuels soared to 93 billion euros—about $97 billion—according to a report by the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air, as the Washington Post reports.

U.S. to Build Silos on Polish Border

President Biden said Tuesday that the U.S. will build temporary silos on Poland’s border with Ukraine to facilitate the export of grain out of the war-torn nation and address surging food prices amid Russia’s invasion, as Politico reports.

When musicians perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre just 10 miles west of Denver, you know that the show is going to look and sound spectacular due to the setting. The elevation of the amphitheatre's top row is approximately 6,450 feet above sea level, and the surrounding Red Rocks Park covers 868 acres. The venue seats about ten thousand people and features a stage built into the rocks.

A couple of weeks ago the best high octane Grateful Dead cover band of them all, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (JRAD) took the stage at Red Rocks. This clip of their performance showcases the band at the height of their powers.
