U.S. Covid Deaths Tied to Nursing Homes
43 percent of Covid deaths in the U.S. are linked to nursing homes according to a NYT data base and the WHO will send a team of experts to China next week to investigate the original source of the coronavirus, as the NYT reports.

The Chinese government is taking draconian measures to slash birth rates among Uighurs and other minorities as part of a sweeping campaign to curb its Muslim population, even as it encourages some of the country’s Han majority to have more children, according to the AP in an exclusive report.

In November of 1994, Tom Petty released “Wildflowers,” his second solo record and the first of three produced by Rick Rubin. It became an instant classic with standout tracks like “You Wreck Me,” “It’s Good To Be King” and “You Don’t Know How It Feels.” The Petty family is now putting together a retrospective project about the “Wildflowers” sessions and just a few days ago released Petty’s home recording of “You Don’t Know How It Feels” with an accompanying animated video. It was a really nice surprise and a big smile for all of us who miss Petty.
