A Framework for Just Transitions

With more countries setting ambitious climate and energy goals, it is important to develop plans for the workers and communities that will be affected by climate change as well as policy responses. The Just Transition Initiative (JTI) has developed a framework to reflect the many definitions and perspectives on just transitions to a low-carbon, climate resilient future. Through feedback and application in country case studies, the JTI has refined this framework to help stakeholders think through the economic, political, social, and ecological dimensions of just transitions.
