Growing the Agriculture Sector in Nigeria

CSIS
Nigeria is placing a renewed focus on agriculture as it seeks to revive an underperforming economy, provide jobs, and address chronic food insecurity in parts of the country. What steps are required to truly change the agriculture sector into an engine of transformative growth that generates significant export revenue? This report, based on interviews with farmers, technical experts, and business entrepreneurs in Nigeria in late 2016, offers some suggestions.
