ISP Brief February 2022

Dear Colleagues,

It's my pleasure to send you the February 2022 edition of the ISP Brief, the monthly newsletter of the CSIS International Security Program.

This month in the program we have continued to follow the Russian military operations against Ukraine; published work on countering the hypersonic missile threat; and analyzed worldwide cislunar and lunar missionscommercial space remote sensingthe evolution of domestic terrorism, and China’s gray zone campaign against Taiwan.

​​​​​​We hosted top military officials from the Royal Navy's First Sea Lord to TRANSCOM Commander Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost. In addition, we hosted a variety of panel discussions on topics ranging from U.S.-Korea defense cooperation in the Biden administration, to a preview of the FY23 defense budget request, among others.
