Bank of Baroda releases a new report on center and state level capital expenditures in India. According to the report, the central government’s capital expenditure was 101.2 percent of the budgeted amount. Eleven states spent above 80 percent of their budgeted capital expenditure, with Karnataka achieving 130.6 percent. Andhra Pradesh was the least well performing state, having spent 23.1 percent.
