Haryana releases the revamped Haryana Solar Power Policy 2023 replacing the previous Haryana Solar Power Policy 2016. As per the policy, the state has a plan to install a cumulative 6 GW solar capacity by 2030. This includes 1.6 GW of rooftop solar power plants, 3.2 GW of ground-mounted solar power plants and the solarization of irrigation pumps with a capacity of 1.2 GW. Industrial Policy & Business Regulations  

Maharashtra approves the MaharashtraExport Promotion Policy 2023, which aims to increase the state’s exports from the current 7% to 14%. The policy also hopes to attract foreign direct investment to the tune of $3 billion and generate 40,000 jobs. The policy will provide financial assistance of up to $6 million for export-oriented projects and $12 million for export-oriented industrial parks.
