These regulations are built upon standards set by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and other global benchmarks. The regulations outline the scope, application, and measures necessary to address power quality issues such as voltage variations, unbalance, sags, dips, swells, and harmonics in the supply system. Andhra Pradesh approves the Semiconductor & Display Fab Policy 2024-29 to attract investments in semiconductor and display fabrication sector with additional focus on outsourced assembly & testing (OSAT), assembling, testing, marking and packing (ATMP) and other emerging sub-sectors to foster a self-sustaining semiconductor ecosystem. Odisha amends the Industrial Policy Resolution 2015 offering industries more flexibility in the timeframe for claiming incentives. According to the amendment, industries can submit claims for various govt incentives and certificates within two years of commissioning their projects from the earlier one year. The government extends multiple financial benefits to under the Industrial Policy Resolution including subsidies for capital investment in equipment, exemptions from electricity duty, power tariff reimbursements, and state GST refunds.
