Karnataka caps Medical Deputations. The state imposes a cap on how long doctors and staff from the Health Department can stay on deputation in medical colleges, corporations, or other agencies. The change in policy stems from concerns that large-scale deputations are leading to staff shortages in government hospitals. Under the new rules, Group A officers can serve a maximum of three years, Group B for four years, Group C for five years, and Group D for seven years.

Bihar releases draft BERC (Terms and Conditions for Tariff Determination from Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2025. Delhi amends DERC (Supply Code and Performance Standards) (Seventh Amendment) Regulations, 2017. The new amendment, issued by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC), aims to streamline the execution of infrastructure-related works carried out by distribution licensees on behalf of various departments of the state. It specifies timelines for various projects, such as the shifting of high-tension and low-tension lines, electrification of bus depots, and other similar infrastructure projects.

Bihar approves ‘Mukhya Mantri Divyangjan Udyami Yojana’ (Chief Minister’s Entrepreneurship Scheme for Persons with Disabilities). Odisha issues Homestay Policy. The policy, issued by the Tourism Department, focuses on the Sambalpur region. Mizoram adopts resolution to extend the Forest (Conservation) Amendment Act, 2023 (No. 15 of 2023). The resolution is framed in the context of Article 371G of the Constitution, which stipulates that no Act of Parliament relating to land ownership and transfer shall apply to Mizoram unless endorsed by the Assembly.
