25 Years of the Brazilian Constitution
Over the past two decades, Brazil has become an important part of the global community. Brazil's new role is in large part thanks to the commitment to fundamental principles of economic, civil, and political rights enshrined in its constitution. As the rules of multilateral institutions are reformulated to reflect the growing importance of emerging economies, Brazil's commitment to these fundamental principles will be important to understanding the underpinnings of Brazil's role in the world.
