Book Event: Ian Bremmer, Every Nation for Itself

Winners and Losers in a G-Zero World
Tuesday, May 22, 2012 9:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Center for Strategic and International Studies1800 K Street, NWWashington DC, 20006

We are pleased to invite you to a discussion with Ian Bremmer on the occassion of his new book "Every Nation for Itself: Winners and Losers in a G-Zero World." Acclaimed geopolitical analyst Ian Bremmer argues that the world is facing a leadership vacuum. Now that so many challenges transcend borders—from the stability of the global economy and climate change to cyberattacks, terrorism, and the security of food and water—the need for international cooperation has never been greater. A lack of global leadership will provoke uncertainty, volatility, competition, and, in some cases, open conflict.

Bremmer, president of Eurasia Group, the world's leading political risk consulting firm, is also author of the national bestseller, "The End of the Free Market: Who Wins the War Between States and Corporations?", and "The J Curve: A New Way to Understand Why Nations Rise and Fall."

Books will be available for purchase.
