Book Event: The Rise of China vs. the Logic of Strategy

with Edward Luttwak
Monday, February 25, 2013 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

The CSIS Japan Chair and the Freeman Chair in China Studies invite you to a discussion with: Edward N. Luttwak on his new book "The Rise of China vs. the Logic of Strategy".

Moderated by

Michael J. Green
Senior Vice President for Asia and Japan Chair, CSIS
Associate Professor, Georgetown University

Discussant:

Christopher K. Johnson
Senior Adviser and Freeman Chair in China Studies, CSIS

As the rest of the world worries about what a future might look like under Chinese supremacy, Edward Luttwak worries about China’s own future prospects. Applying the logic of strategy for which he is well known, Luttwak argues that the most populous nation on Earth—and its second-largest economy—may be headed for a fall.
