Book Event - We Win, They Lose: Republican Foreign Policy & the New Cold War

April 15, 2024 • 9:00 – 10:00 am EDT

Join the Center for Strategic and International Studies for a discussion on We Win, They Lose: Republican Foreign Policy & the New Cold War written by Dr. Matthew Kroenig and Dan Negrea. Inspired by the foreign policy strategies championed by former presidents Trump and Reagan, this book proposes a straightforward goal for the struggle with China: we win, and they lose. We Win, They Lose outlines a comprehensive strategy for tackling major foreign policy issues facing the United States in the era of great power competition.

“Increasingly we see an axis of authoritarian powers arrayed against the Free World, attacking the peace and freedom that American strength protects. Our New Cold War with the Chinese Communist Party may be more complex and dangerous than the old Cold War with the Soviet Union, but if we follow Kroenig and Negrea’s counsel, freedom can once again prevail over communism.” – Congressman Mike Gallagher, Chairman of the Select Committee on the CCP about the book

This event was made possible through general support to CSIS.
