Please join the Center for Strategic and International Studies for a Smart Women, Smart Power conversation with Representative Martha McSally (R-AZ) about border security, the threat from ISIS, and the conflicts in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.  She serves on both the House Armed Services and Homeland Security Committees and is chair of the subcommittee on Border and Maritime Security.

Representative McSally is a retired United States Air Force Colonel and is the first woman fighter pilot to fly in combat as well as the first woman to command a fighter squadron in combat in U.S. history, logging more than 325 combat hours, the majority of them during Operation Enduring Freedom.  She was awarded the Bronze Star.
