U.S. President Joe Biden and South Korean President Yoon Seok-yul held their first summit meeting on May 21 to discuss the U.S.- Korea alliance, opportunities for cooperation, and the North Korea threat.

Mark Lippert, Dr. Victor Cha, and Dr. Sue Mi Terry, and will feature Ms. Jung Eun Lee and Mr. Alastair Gale. Ms. Jung Eun Lee is an editorial writer and a reporter at the Dong-A Ilbo Daily, a leading newspaper in South Korea founded in 1920. Ms. Lee worked as a Washington correspondent from 2019 to 2021. Mr. Alastair Gale is Asia Security Correspondent and Japan Editor for The Wall Street Journal based in Tokyo. Mr. Gale has worked for the paper in Asia since 1999, including serving as Korea Bureau Chief from 2011 to 2016.
