CSIS Scholl Chair in International Business and the Energy Security and Climate Change Program host a conversation with Senator Sheldon Whitehouse to discuss his Clean Competition Act, which aims to establish a U.S. border carbon adjustment mechanism. The U.S. equivalent of the European Union's CBAM, this legislation would impose a border adjustment on imported goods based on their carbon intensity.
