Careers in Global Development: A Discussion with Mr. Michael Hershman

Please join the Project on U.S. Leadership in Development for a lunchtime discussion in the Careers in Global Development forum with Mr. Michael Hershman.  Mr. Hershman is the co-founder of Transparency International, CEO of the Fairfax Group as well as the International Center for Safeguarding Sports, a member of the Independent Governance Committee of FIFA, Advisor to Interpol on corruption issues, and former chief Watergate Investigator and former Deputy Inspector General of USAID.  He is also the founder of the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Vienna, Austria.  Mr. Hershman was also the Deputy Director of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Investigation of US-Korean Relations in the late 1970s.

“Careers in Global Development” is a monthly series featuring U.S. senior-level, multi-lateral and NGO officials who have worked in the field of development for at least twenty years. The series is aimed at young professionals who are interested in working in development, and will include a one-hour dialogue on both the specific expertise of the speaker, as well as the career path and influences along the way.
