This past spring’s contentious election season and the recent uptick of violence signal a pivotal moment for Nigeria, one that holds the promise of consolidating the gains of democracy, but also threatens to perpetuate old divisions. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, governor of Nigeria's Rivers State, will share his perspective on the challenges facing Nigeria in light of recent violence and new threats emerging in the country, as well as his strategy and priorities for Rivers State.
