In 2007, Western Union selected Mercy Corps as the first international NGO partner in their Our World, Our Family initiative, which seeks to address economic growth issues in areas throughout the world. Through their innovative collaborations, Mercy Corps and Western Union are implementing sustainable solutions to development challenges, particularly in the realm of financial literacy and entrepreneurship. At this event, Neal Keny-Guyer, Mercy Corps' CEO, and Talya Bosch, Western Union's Senior Director of Social Ventures, will discuss the evolution of their cooperative work, their ongoing efforts to bring a shared value approach to development, and the dynamics of partnership in today's international landscape.
