Cybersecurity efforts across the globe have increased significantly in 2021. Competition with China and Russia, and the strains brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic underscore the importance of these efforts. Australia and the United States have both taken major steps to build a more secure online environment. Whether through AUKUS, the Quad or the UN, the two nations are shaping what better cybersecurity looks like.

To discuss Australia’s approach to cybersecurity, and their whole-of-government approach to online safety, please join CSIS for a virtual event. This event will feature an address on 'Safeguarding our values, principles and prosperity through cyber security' from the Hon. Karen Andrews MP., Australian Minister for Home Affairs, followed by a moderated discussion.

This event is made possible through general support.
