Mexico’s Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, José Antonio Meade Kuribreña will discuss the future of the U.S.-Mexico bilateral economic relationship. How are the dynamics with the new U.S. Administration impacting Mexico’s economy? What is the outlook for growth in Mexico and what has been the economic impact so far of the structural reforms passed in recent years under the Pact for Mexico?

Secretary Meade has extensive government experience in Mexico, previously serving as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Secretary of Energy, Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, and Secretary of Social Development. His professional expertise also draws on his various esteemed positions within the financial and academic sectors, including his roles as CEO of the National Bank for Rural Credit, Undersecretary of Finance and Public Credit, and Professor of Micro and Macroeconomics at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
