CSIS Celebrates CSIS Zbigniew Brzezinski's Endowment Campaign

On July 18, CSIS hosted a special tribute dinner to celebrate the launch of the endowment campaign for the CSIS Zbigniew Brzezinski Chair in Global Security and Geostrategy. The event, held at the National Museum of Women and the Arts, featured an important policy address on U.S.-Polish relations by Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski, as well as heartfelt remarks by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, in honor of the legacy of Zbigniew Brzezinski. As Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski noted in speaking of Brzezinski, "he is an exceptional man--a man that in his unique way has left his trace in the history of two nations, America and Poland, and a man who has influenced the shaping of a new international order."
