The CSIS Commission on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) will play a unique role in shaping a national debate on CVE policies and approaches, concentrating on how to better counter extremist ideologies and reduce their appeal around the world. Over the coming months, the Commission will develop new and innovative ideas for undercutting extremists' radicalization and recruitment efforts and prepare a comprehensive strategy for CVE that marshals all elements of national and international power. Join us as we launch this exciting effort at CSIS.
