Join the Defense-Industrial Initiatives Group (DIIG) for CSIS-DAPA 2024: The Potential for Expanding Defense Cooperation within the ROK-U.S. Alliance. This is the latest conference in a series with the Republic of Korea's Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) exploring avenues for a more integrated and effective defense cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the United States.
The conference will open with remarks from Dr. John J. Hamre, CSIS President and CEO, and Langone Chair in American Leadership, and include keynotes from DAPA Minister Seok, JongGun and the Honorable Douglas R. Bush, U.S. Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)). The keynote session will be followed by a panel analyzing lessons from the war in Ukraine and the ROK and U.S. industrial strategies created to address the present environment.
