Economic Reform in Angola

CSIS and the U.S. Angola Chamber of Commerce are pleased to co-host the first in a series of events taking a fresh look at U.S.-Angola relations.  In the first meeting, Secretary da Costa and Vice-Governor de Abreu will lead a discussion on Angola’s efforts to tackle money laundering, reform monetary policy, and promote economic diversification.  Future events will take a broad look at new and emerging economic, social and political dynamics in Angola, including a range of voices and opinions from inside and outside the country in order to promote better understanding of Angola in the United States. 
 
With introductory remarks by Jeannine Scott, President of the U.S.-Angola Chamber of Commerce and Jennifer G. Cooke, Director of the CSIS Africa Program. 
 
A light breakfast will be served.
