Energy Security in the 21st Century
The CSIS Energy Program together with the Europe Program and Russia and Eurasia Program hosted a lunch briefing with Joan MacNaughton, Director-General for Energy, Department of Trade & Industry, United Kingdom, on Tuesday, February 28, 2006.
Director MacNaughton will be in Washington to discuss the prospects of cooperation with the U.S. administration on Russia in the context of energy security and the Russian G8 presidency. She titled her speech, "Energy Security in the 21st Century: Who Has the Answers?"
Following the presentation, Celeste Wallander, Director and Senior Fellow of the Russia and Eurasia Program and Frank Verrastro, Director and Senior Fellow of the Energy Program made brief comments.
