An Exit Interview with Henrietta Fore, Former Executive Director of UNICEF

CSIS is pleased to welcome Henrietta Fore for a conversation on her time as the Executive Director of UNICEF.

As the world extends into the third year of the Covid-19 pandemic, countries have struggled to serve those severely impacted by the pandemic: children who lost years of education, women who lost opportunities for work, and marginalized communities who were left behind by Covid shutdowns. Many countries are still trying to deliver on medicine, food, vaccines, and more. With the Covid-19 recovery, sustainable and inclusive development will include youth empowerment and greater engagement in the multilateral system. Ms. Fore will share her insights on the work of UNICEF, the UN system, and how we can solve today's biggest challenges as it pertains to youth. This event will be moderated by Daniel Runde, Senior Vice President and Director of the Project on Prosperity and Development.
